I previously talked to the theory with New York Post About his behind-the-scenes relationship with Cena, opening up about the advice the 16-time world champion gave him. He also remained incredibly optimistic that a match would finally happen.

When asked about the future match, Theory said, “He just takes the words out of my mouth, because I think when that moment happens and I’m in the ring with John Cena, man, I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what I’m going to say. I don’t know. I don’t have any Idea just because as you say and the way you talked about it, I clearly know what it was like for me watching John, just the story there and how much story we actually have. Man is too crazy for me. I see it definitely happening.”
